Аннотация

Статья посвящена истории драматичных взаимоотношений одного из видных военных специалистов Красной армии бывшего генерала от инфантерии А.М. Зайончковского с советской властью в 1919–1921 гг. В тот период Зайончковский контактировал с антибольшевистским подпольем, а также передал белым важные оперативные документы, несколько раз арестовывался органами ЧК и в конце концов стал негласным осведомителем ВЧК. В основе публикации впервые вводимые в научный оборот рассекреченные архивные документы.

Andrey V. Ganin «I Offer My Services to the VChK…» Former General A.M. Zayonchkovsky and the VChK in 1919–1921

Abstract

The article is devoted to the history of the dramatic relationship between one of the prominent military specialists of the Red Army, former Infantry General A.M. Zayonchkovsky, and the Soviet government in 1919–1921. At that time, Zayonchkovsky was in contact with the anti-Bolshevik underground, and also handed over important operational documents to the Whites. The military specialist was arrested several times by the VChK and eventually became a secret informant of the VChK. The publication is based on declassified archival documents introduced into scientific circulation for the first time.
